My mother and i came to this salon because an appointment we had at another salon on saturday morning at 8am was cancelled due to their nail tech being sick and not having any other employees available. So we were walk ins on December 30th, since the sign on the front says walk ins welcome. We were asked first thing if we had an appointment, and we did not. They got us in though since it was 9am and nobody was in there. Throughout the time of receiving my service there were other walk ins that also did not have an appointment and the front desk person would give them a time to come back 11a, or 2pm etc. The nail tech doing my nails would get flustered and go faster every time a person would walk in. She started rushing faster through the service and it became sloppy. I did ask for a new buffing nail bit on the drill, and they "didn't have any to put on", only a really worn down used one. They are supposed to be changed out everytime with a new person by regulation. At one point she began putting her drill away and I asked her to clean up the side and underneath the nails were thick and she got snappy and said, " now now, I do it now". And got her drill back out to do them. I told her it's cool I just wanted to make sure it was taken care of and she tried to play it off like that was her next step but in reality she really wasn't going to do it until I said something. After asking these basic things from my nail tech she seemed very cold and somewhat rude. Pulling my fingers and grabbing them harder than before. I got French tips so another tech came over to paint them on. I was rushed through that process also and didn't get a chance to check in depth while I was there or else I would have addressed it to them. The sides of my thumbs and a couple of other fingers weren't painted all the way down to the sides. Looking back I wish I would have gotten these little, but important, details taken care of because I ended up getting engaged a couple days later. Durability and quality were lacking with this set also. I could tell almost a week after getting them done that they were becoming looser underneath and started lifting after only 9 days of having them on. On Jan 12, not even a full two weeks after getting them I had two nails break off at the tips where they got glued down, and one the entire nail came off. All in all, I'm glad they were able to squeeze us in last minute but that's the only time I would ever go back would be in a pinch.
My family and I have used elegant nails multiple times and we love it! About 6 weeks ago, they did nails for my wedding for myself, my mom, sister, and cousin. It was wonderful service and they looked absolutely stunning! I even went back in because I had accidentally smudged my toe a little bit and they fixed it right up with no extra charge. I think I had about four different people working on me to make sure I had the perfect nails for my wedding and they sure delivered!
They’re ok. I had a picture of nails I wanted replicated. I’ve had it done with my previous nail tech where I use to live. One of the staff told me to pick out the color , which I’ve never had happen anywhere else before. While I was trying to pick the colors (ombré) staff disagreed with me about the color and was pushing glitter. He lost 2 of the colors I chose but I found them again, I’m pretty sure he pulled a lighter pink color for the top than what I chose with glitter…I mentioned it several times, regardless they were very nice and the technician did an ok job. They still look good, but have some imperfections, with how pricey nails are I think feedback is important. Nails are not even, some areas look chipped, shine on top of the dip is also not even, I have some dull areas not covered . But like I said they were very nice and I didn’t have an appointment and they took me in.
NZ is amazing! She does awesome work every single time. I am very happy with the service I receive every two weeks.
It was my first time visiting today and I will definitely be back the gentleman who helped me was so kind and the lady who did my nails I believe her name is NZ is an absolute doll she has the kindest soul ever and we definitely need more people like her in this world she did such an amazing job on my nails
